I had the opportunity to shoot Chris & Danielle George’s wedding last weekend at The Clearing Manor in Gallatin, TN. Chris & Danielle were such an amazing couple.. and had a FUN group of friends & family!
I loved the way these two flower girls were looking at each other…Lord only knows what they were thinking..”Why is this photographer making us kiss our aunt on the cheek?”

I was asked this week by a potential client, “What are your favorite pictures to take at a wedding…?” I thought about it for a minute and I told her that I absolutely love taking pictures of people dancing… whether it’s the “First Dance” or the “Father/Daughter” dance or just people having a good time and gettin’ jiggy with it. Dancing seems to make people forget about everything else and the people around them…that’s why I love these photo op’s…
I was sitting at the table next to all of the groomsmen and just happened to turn and get this shot as they were all doing a toast!

This wedding was such a joy to shoot..as you can see, these guys REALLY had a good time!
Ok… this photo below requires some explanation. The DJ cranked up the song, “Lean Back” and yes, this awesome grandma was doing the “Lean Back” dance… I said NO WAY! Look at her get down with it! LOL!
During these shots, I was experimenting a little bit with my camera and lighting.. I wanted to get the streaming sparklers and also capture the bride & groom’s exit!
Here’s a cropped-in view of the shot above.. I just loved Danielle’s face so I wanted to get a close-up of it! HA!
